Configuring account and role properties can affect a work of users.


Property Description Details
Active Active user feature If the user is not active, he cannot use the system. This feature can be used to temporarily deactivate an account, e.g., for employees on leave
Name* / Last Name* Name and last name of the user One of the required properties. Can be changed after initial saving
Login* User login One of the required properties. User login is unique and consist of Latin letters and numbers. Allowed format: first character - letter; subsequent characters - letters, numbers. It is not possible to change the login of an existing user
Email User e-mail Standard email address format according to RFC 2822
Password* User password Required property. Must be entered twice
External External user feature If the user is marked as an external user, then the login data from the external system (third-party login and password from the external system) is used for his work in the Unidata platform
Superuser System administrator feature Automatically gives the user maximum rights to all objects in the system, regardless of other settings and assigned roles. The user also has the ability to change the platform license in a special mode
Localization List of available languages Language selection for the user interface and e-mail notifications
Interface* Changing available interfaces while working with the platform May include:
WEB interface: access to the standard user interface.
SOAP interface: access to SOAP requests interface.
One or more interfaces can be chosen during setup
Roles List of roles assigned to a specific user Users can have one or more roles assigned to them.
In case of conflicting roles, the access rights are determined by the role with more rights assigned to it
User Information Other user properties List of additional user properties. The number of rows and columns are set up separately
You can import/export user roles. This operation is performed simultaneously with the import/export of the data model.
