Additional Actions with Operations

Operation Launch

The operation can be launched manually or automatically on a time-table (using CRON-expressions).

To run an operation manually:

  1. Select the operation from a list.

  2. If the “Launch Parameters” tab is open, click the “Launch” button above the operation properties.

  3. If the “Launch Manager” tab is open, click the “Launch” button in the top right corner of the screen (under the “Save” button).

As a result of the actions:

  • The “Launch” button will change the view to “Stop”.

  • In the “Launch Parameters” tab, a status of the last run will be displayed over the operation parameters area.

  • The “Launch Manager” tab displays information about the last start of the operation: the start and the end date/time, current status.

  • In the list of operations an execution indicator of the current operation will change to blue (Figure 1). If the operation is successful, the indicator becomes green, if the operation ends with an error - red.

To check execution details:

  1. Go to the “Launch Manager” tab.

  2. Select the required record of the operation execution.

  3. As a result, the “Operation Steps” section with data about each operation step will be opened at the bottom of the screen.

  4. To see an error, click the “Detail” button on the right of the corresponding line (Figure 2).

If an error occurs during the execution of the operation, the “Failed” value will be displayed in the current status of the operation. All successful steps of the operation will have the “Completed” status. If the operation was stopped - the “Stopped” status.

To stop the execution, click the Stop button.

Import/Export of Operations

To import or export a set of operations that were previously created in the system, you need to use the appropriate wizard. Click the image1 “Import/Export” button located at the bottom of the list of created operations.

Step 1. Select a required action. Export is performed in 2 steps. Import in 3 steps.

Step 2. Export. No additional settings are available for export. Confirm the action before the export begins, the results can be downloaded in the Notifications.

Step 2. Import. Select a file with a set of operations (extension .json). To continue, click “Next Step”.
