Audit logs

The “Audit logs” section is used to audit the actions of users with data. The log records and store events - actions taken by the user in relation to any record or group of records in the registry/lookup entity. Events can be linked by a single operation (for example, within batch data processing).

The log is a table (Figure 1). There are 3 types of reports available:

  • Administrator: report to the administrators of the platform. Reflects, for example, the IP of the server and the IP of the user where the event occurred.
  • Operator: report for operators. Reflects, for example, the event ID and the main record IDs.
  • Custom: allows you to customize your own report with a custom set of columns.

To switch between reports, click the corresponding button in the upper-left corner of the section. To configure a custom report, click on the Custom button. This action will open a drop-down menu with a list of columns (Figure 2).

Log configuration options

Use filters:

  1. Click the Filters off button in the upper-right corner of the screen to enable filtering. By the actions:
    • the button will turn blue and the text will change to Filters on.
    • filter fields will be added under the header of each column. Depending on the column, the field may look like a drop-down list, a date selection element, a text field, and so on.
  2. Apply one or more filters. For example, select the username of the event initiator and the type of event that occurred.
  3. Wait for automatic filtering.
  4. To reset the filter settings, press the button on the right of the Filters on button. Either click the Filters on button to save filters, but disable filtering.

Clean audit log

Background intermittent log cleaning operation available. The administrator can enable/disable the operation, set the starting frequency, and set the audit file retention period.

At the bottom of the screen, there is a panel with a button to update the results, a page switching element and a drop-down list to select the number of records displayed on the page (Figure 3).

Export log data

The data can be uploaded to an Excel file (. xlsx). If filtration is performed in the log, for example, the display of lines with the “Change record” event type is enabled, the export results will also contain only lines with the specified event type.

To unload, press the Export button in the upper right corner of the screen. Once a report is generated, the results are available in notifications. Matching fields by type of event to decrypt the report content is described in the following subsection (Table 1).
