Platform parameters

The Platform parameters section of the platform designed for viewing and editing the configuration settings. Parameters are divided into groups, each of which is responsible for separate functions of the Unidata platform, such as message queues, time intervals, etc. (Figure 1).

The list of parameters is formed by sequentially reading parameters from data sources:, PostgreSQL databases, and Hazelcast. Each read source is compared with the previous one, which corresponds to the logical expression ( ( And PostgreSQL) ) And Hazelcast).

New parameters are added during the comparison process and existing parameters are overwritten, which makes it equal to the last read source. This creates a complete and up-to-date list of parameters for the Unidata platform.

In this section, you can change the values of individual parameters, as well as import/export parameters.

Edit parameters

Most parameters are read-only and are grayed out.

If necessary, edit the available parameters, then click “Save” located in the upper-right corner of the screen to make changes.

Before editing, we recommend that you create a backup copy of the parameters using export (see below).

Import/export parameters

The entire set of parameters is exported.
Only settings available for editing are imported.

To import or export a set of platform parameters, use the appropriate wizard. To do this, click the “Import/export” button located in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  • Select the desired action and click Next (Figure 2). Export is performed in 2 steps. Import in 3 steps.
  • To export: during step 2 click Confirm. The export will start, and you can download the results in notifications.
  • To import: in step 2, select the file with the set of parameters (extension .properties) and click Next. During step 3 click Confirm. A message about the import results will be displayed in notifications.
