Task processing

The task can be closed with different results. The standard pipeline provides options:

  • Approve.
  • Send to correct.

To approve task:

  1. Periodically check for new tasks for the current user. Find the required task from available ones.
  2. Make sure the task is assigned to you. Assign task, if this has not been done.
  3. Check task details if necessary: proposed changes, comments on previous tasks, etc.
  4. If necessary, put a comment and add an attachment for a user to whom the task will return. All comments and attachments will be displayed in the process history.
  5. Select the “ Approved” option in the “Approval result” field, and then click the “ Complete task” button in the upper right corner.
  6. As a result of the action, the task will be completed and will change its status to “Completed”.
  7. The workflow will move on to the next step, which will make the task of the new process step available. If the step was the last step, the workflow will be finished

To deny task:

  1. Periodically check for new tasks for the current user. Find the required task from available ones.
  2. Make sure the task is assigned to you. Assign task, if this has not been done.
  3. Check task details if necessary: proposed changes, comments on previous tasks, etc.
  4. In the “ Approval result” field, select the “Send to correct” option.
  5. If necessary, specify a comment and add an attachment for a user to whom the task will be returned. All comments and attachments will be displayed in the process history.
  6. Click the “ Complete task” button in the upper right corner.
  7. As a result of the action, the task will be returned to the initiator and will change its status to “Not completed”.
  8. A workflow will return to a previous step. The workflow can be configured in such a way that denying the task will end the workflow.
